Process Integration Engineer
The Process Integration Engineer is responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimization of device fabrication processes in wafer manufacturing, ensuring that process stability, yield, and throughput meet production targets. Through process data analysis and design of experiments (DOE), this role resolves process abnormalities and drives continuous improvement. The engineer works with equipment, yield, and quality assurance teams to support new process development and sample delivery.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize device fabrication processes to meet stability, yield, and throughput targets.
- Monitor process parameters and SPC charts, and respond to out-of-control events following OCAP procedures.
- Plan and execute DOE to define and widen process windows.
- Analyze inline, defect, and yield data to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support new process development, including recipe setup, process qualification, and transfer to mass production.
- Coordinate engineering lots and ensure on-time sample delivery to customers or internal teams.
- Create and maintain process specifications and SOPs.
- Work with equipment, PIE, yield to resolve line issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Follow safety, environmental, and cleanroom regulations in all process activities.
Basic Qualifications
- Master's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in process integration within the semiconductor industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in wafer fab device process development, preferably in new process introduction or engineering sample delivery.
- Experience with data analysis automation or programming (e.g., Python, SQL) to improve engineering efficiency.
